Our Thanksgiving table would not be complete without sweet potato pie, but really, this pie is delicious and healthy all year. It’s simple to make. The recipe came from Aretha Johnson and has been handed down in my family.

On one of the last days of our long Indian Summer I took myself to the Parrish Museum in Southampton. The current installation has quite a few gems. Here are some of my favorites in their current installation.
