Set of Six Leggera Chairs by Gio Ponti
Italy, 1954
Set of six vintage Leggera Chairs by Gio Ponti for Cassina, model 646/3. A precursor to 1957’s Superleggera, this model was made with upholstered seats and backs. All original with ash frames and original blue-green vinyl upholstery. Documented in Gio Ponti: La Committenza Fernandes by Fabrizio Mautone, page 52.
Very good vintage condition, one seat has small tear.
